Our Chapter actively participates in
EAA's Young Eagles program
with two rallies per year and informal Young Eagle flights year-round. We made it
well past our goal of flying 1,000 kids before December 2003 and we continue with
an on-going goal of flying at least 100 kids each year.
The future of aviation rests with our youth, and the Young Eagles program has
the goal of getting young folks interested in aviation, math, and science.
We're doing our best to get the message out to local youth that FLYING IS FUN.
