Runners started on the runway, ran the length of it, then back up the taxiway before exiting the airport and running a course through South Meriden. They reversed the course upon arriving back to the airport crossing the finish line at the head of the runway. EAA Chapter 27 displayed a few planes, answered questions, and provided labor to help with the event. It was a great success and has received some good press.
